HUGE RIVER PLATE PICSPAM

Club Atletico River Plate of Argentina is one of the best, most exciting club teams in the world. They are currently my favourite team of all, as in I would drop whatever I was doing to watch one of their games. So I decided to do (another) picspam of River, but this time I am using pics I've never posted before (I don't think) that focus on each individual player. Credit for the fabulous pics goes mostly to the cariverplate.com site.

First, there are four players from this River Plate team who also play for their national teams. These are:

1) Diego Buonanotte - Argentina



2) Radamel Falcao - Colombia



3) Sebastian Abreu - Uruguay



4) Alexis Sanchez - Chile



And now for the sad news. Some of the best River Plate players have transferred to other teams. These are:

1) Juan Pablo Carrizo - Goalkeeper - to Lazio in Italy



2) Alexis Sanchez - Midfielder/Winger - to Udinese in Italy



3) Sebastian Abreu - Forward - to Beitar Jerusalem

ARIEL ORTEGA - Forward/Midfield/Playmaker (Ariel is Mr. River Plate. He is their captain. He's 34 years old and still going strong.)

LOL. Thanks for enjoying it! I loved that cariverplate.com had so many pics of each individual player.

I love River too, so much. I was mad that there weren't pics of ALL the players on that site!

And yeah...Robert Flores is one of the new ones for the Apertura, eh? I did find a couple of pics (he is cute!) but I'd rather wait until he's there and playing and get the pics with him in the new River kit! (I can't wait until the new season starts!)

I have Robert Flores only in Villarreal Yellow, I hope for more in River jersey!

I have difficulties finding all the stuff on spanish sites....

Today I have seen Sebastián playing for Beitar - OMG! That is a really shitty club! He change jersey at the end and he was wearing THAT blue jersey under the Beitar yellow one! I hope for them next wednesday, but only because I want to watch Sebastián longer/more.
