PREASEASON 2011-12: A RANDOM PICSPAM FROM ALL OVER

I meant to do this a few days ago but couldn't, thanks to my internet issues as well as the Under-20 World Cup, which I've been following and feel obligated to continue until the bitter end.

But I had collected so many interesting photos from some of the friendly games and other stuff that occurred during the off season. Now that some of the leagues have started up again (English Premier League, Argentine Primera, and Bundesliga, to name a few), I wanted to post them. So here goes:

Liverpool FC vs Valencia CF





This match took place on August 6th. Here are some more pics:

And on August 12th, Valencia played against AS Roma (see Bojan? He plays for Roma now, of course you knew that.)
And Valencia's kits are absolutely horrendous...horrible! I didn't even recognize the team!















FC Porto

Jorge Fucile vs an opponent from Vitoria Guimaraes on August 7th.











Porto played Penarol in a friendly!















Manchester City signed Kun Aguero.





And played against Manchester United in the Community Shield.



Another City signing, Stefan Savic.



Isco (now currently with the Spain U-20 team in Colombia) signed for Malaga.





Malaga played against Sporting Lisbon on August 5th. Here, Julio Baptista fights Fito Rinaudo (an Argentine player signed from Gimnasia y Esgrima de la Plata, who went down with River.) :(

Efrain Juarez of Mexico signed with Real Zaragoza. Here he is with Leo Ponzio, who would like to sign on with River Plate and help them back into the Primera A, but his team doesn't want to let him go. *sigh*



Tottenham Hotspur played in a bunch of friendlies. This one, on August 6th, was against Athletic Bilbao.

On July 30th they played Brighton & Hove Albion.



On July 26 they played against MK Dons.



On July 23rd they won the Vodacom trophy.



Real Madrid played lots of friendlies as well. This one was in China, against Tianjin. This is new signing Jose Callejon.

On August 2nd, Penarol of Uruguay played in a friendly against Levante of Spain. Here are some pretty pics.

This season seems to be the one of MANY changes...not just for Liverpool but for other big teams as well (Real Madrid, AS Roma, Atletico Madrid, more I can't think of...) The new Liverpool team is awesome! From watching their first two matches, I can see that they need a bit more time of playing together (there are too many instances of one player yelling at another because he wasn't where he was supposed to be) but they are still managing wins and/or important away ties. I'm excited about them!

Thank god I think those horrendous kits of Valencia's are only for away games, or perhaps only for the European matches. O_O

Awesome to be able to see some of the friendlies! :)

LOL...John Rooney looks a bit like Wayne, but much better, IMO. XD
