PREASEASON 2011-12: A RANDOM PICSPAM FROM ALL OVER

I meant to do this a few days ago but couldn't, thanks to my internet issues as well as the Under-20 World Cup, which I've been following and feel obligated to continue until the bitter end.

But I had collected so many interesting photos from some of the friendly games and other stuff that occurred during the off season. Now that some of the leagues have started up again (English Premier League, Argentine Primera, and Bundesliga, to name a few), I wanted to post them. So here goes:

Liverpool FC vs Valencia CF





This match took place on August 6th. Here are some more pics:

And on August 12th, Valencia played against AS Roma (see Bojan? He plays for Roma now, of course you knew that.)
And Valencia's kits are absolutely horrendous...horrible! I didn't even recognize the team!















FC Porto

Jorge Fucile vs an opponent from Vitoria Guimaraes on August 7th.











Porto played Penarol in a friendly!















Manchester City signed Kun Aguero.





And played against Manchester United in the Community Shield.



Another City signing, Stefan Savic.



Isco (now currently with the Spain U-20 team in Colombia) signed for Malaga.





Malaga played against Sporting Lisbon on August 5th. Here, Julio Baptista fights Fito Rinaudo (an Argentine player signed from Gimnasia y Esgrima de la Plata, who went down with River.) :(

Efrain Juarez of Mexico signed with Real Zaragoza. Here he is with Leo Ponzio, who would like to sign on with River Plate and help them back into the Primera A, but his team doesn't want to let him go. *sigh*



Tottenham Hotspur played in a bunch of friendlies. This one, on August 6th, was against Athletic Bilbao.

On July 30th they played Brighton & Hove Albion.



On July 26 they played against MK Dons.



On July 23rd they won the Vodacom trophy.



Real Madrid played lots of friendlies as well. This one was in China, against Tianjin. This is new signing Jose Callejon.

I'm actually completely in love with Valencia's striped kits <3 I love the Valencian flag so much, every time I see it I get all giddy, so these kits make me happy. I think the socks with the shirts are horrible though, haha (I'll probably buy the socks anyway... how can you turn those down?!)

I don't even recognise the Liverpool team anymore - there have been so many changes since 2009! O__O And I'm slightly worried that the only ones of the new signings that I've actually heard of are Stewart Downing and Doni (though I don't really know anything about the latter). Ah well, I'm trying to be optimistic.

Valencia's kits are truly ugly. Urgh. It would have been a lot better not to have blue in those kits but black or white instead. WTF.

So glad to see Fucile again! I was so sorry for him missing the Copa América!

And hehehe, just like Becky I saw two of these friendlies! The one of Athletic against Spurs, and the one of Real Madrid against Hertha! :D

LOLOLOL, this almost looks as if New York Red Bulls tried to sign Wayne Rooney but got the first name wrong and signed his brother instead. XDDD Ahem. Oh, and I really don't like Frank Rost.
