Over the weekend there were a few friendly games being played, as a warm up to the eventual tournament, which begins on June 8th.

For me, the nicest-looking kit this year is Portugal's:





Portugal played a friendly against Macedonia on Saturday.













And England! This dark shirt is nice...



England played a friendly against Norway.































France played against Iceland. The dark blue French kit is also one of my favourites.

Germany played a friendly against Switzerland and got their asses handed to them in a 5-3 goalfest.

First: I still love Navas' eyes!!!

Kits!

England's kits are really NEW! You can see it. The blue colar is ugly and the blue shorts are far toooooooooooooooo tight! I hate that kind of shorts! Blue ist't an english colour!

Portugal kit looks good.

Germany in green is HORRIBLE!!!

WTF the NT are changing colours? I have seen very nice kits in earlier years and now??? What a shit taste do they have???

Jesus Navas - still a good looking boy and looking a bit older now. :)

England's blue collar is a bit different but I like the dark shirt collar. The shorts are wrong...don't like them. The white kit might look better.

Portugal's is REALLY nice! :)

Germany in green looks wrong, wrong, wrong! I hope this is just an alternate kit and they go back to black & white! :(

I have no idea why some NTs are changing colours. I hope my favourite kit never changes! (Mexico.) :/

I need to post my Mexican friendly pics, and pics of the U-23 team in the Toulon Tournament. That is the summer tournament that Colombia won last year! But THIS year they have NOT invited the Colombians! They have a weird shit tournament with a lot of eastern teams! Like some Arabs and JAPAN!!!! :(((((

Except for the Mexicans, it is like shit, and the Mexicans are getting treated as shitty as possible so the French can win, I guess!!!! :((((

Or maybe they want Japan to win...who knows? But except for Mexico, I am NOT interested!!! They can snub the Colombians but then they will lose ME, for one!!! :(((((((((((((((

It makes me mad when MY teams are not treated well! The Mexicans are dear to me (especially these younger ones) and so are the Colombians, as you know!

May my cafeteros do well in the qualifiers. I will be very nervous on June 2 and 9. Peru beat them in the Copa America, and so I wonder now what will happen. *bites nails*

Mucho love for Colombia and Paraguay and may both teams do well and make it to the WC! If not, I don't care, I still love them. ♥

Germany's green kits look like Irish kits. (and yeah, it's only the away kit)

Hummels looks suspicious, Benni looks worried, Götze looks like something smells bad. Sucks that both Benders won't go to the Eurocup together :( Löw left Lars Sven behind :/

It's odd that some of the teams - England and Germany anyway - have changed their kit colours. It looks somehow wrong. :/

I don't know about the Greek player's hair, but he certainly looks good now! ;)

I think the Bender twins are the cutest things! I was so looking forward to seeing them together at the Euro and now I won't have that pleasure. Also Julian Draxler. It sucks. Also I'm sad that Adrian Lopez was left out of the Spain squad. Although I do understand that NTs are different in that experience is more valuable than giving a hot young player a chance. (I mean hot in the sense of being lately very effective.) ;P

The green German away kit is supposed to represent the.... '70s? Some decade when they won something, but I haven't paid attention (sorry), not 1990 (they did have a green away kit in 1990 too, but that's not the one they're reminiscing - thank God! it was a horrible checkered number - well, both kits were), so either the 70s or the 50s. They won the WC in '54, '74, and '90. The EC, I don't know, but around the 50s and 70s as well. Let me see if the fanshop has that info... 1972 there we go. So it's based on the kit from 1972. I personally like this one better, when it comes to retro green kits.

Wow! the new green kit looks very much like the 1972 one, if not exactly the same!

And wow - I really like that second retro green shirt with the laces. I'm partial to laces. Athletic Bilbao had one when I was there in 2010 in their fan shop. I almost bought it but didn't, and now I regret it! But I might be able to find one on eBay or somewhere. ;)
