AAAAAARRRRGGGGHHH!!!
This was CLEARLY NOT my weekend for football.
My team Schalke04, LOST to up-and-coming Borussia Moenchengladbach, and while I kind of like these upstarts, I am just feeling, well.....a bit down. Not to mention Benni is still wearing a mask, and I don't know.
Anyway, the top four now are:
1. Borussia Dortmund - 46 points
2. Bayern Munich - 44 points
3. Borussia Moenchengladbach - 43 points
4. Schalke04 - 41 points
Guys, guys, guys - let's get it together now, shall we? You are 5 points out of first place!

More pics from Borussia Moenchengladbach vs Schalke (must I tell the score? 3-0 for B. M.
See? Now how can Benni defend properly when it looks like he can't even see?

All right. Cologne vs Hamburg. Score 0 - 1.

Does Paolo Guerrero wear eyeliner?

Okay, now allow me just a few gratuitous photos, since I'm all verklempt atm.
Werder Bremen guys Clemens Fritz and Marko Arnautovic.

And Claudio Pizarro.

Some Borussia Dortmund players.

And Holger Badstuber.

As well as Mario Gomez.

Date: 2012-02-15 11:54 pm (UTC)All today:
1. The door on Schalke's plane to Prague was broken
2. The hotel sawed the beds in half, because they only had King size beds & the team needed rooms with 2 single beds
3. Fuchs and Papadopoulos snuck into the press dinner room and smuggled food out

Date: 2012-02-16 12:00 am (UTC)Seriously? All happened today??
1. OMG!
2. What? Oh come on, they could have shared beds and put rolled up blankets down the middle-if they wanted-and the hotel could have saved on having to buy new beds! That's just crazy!
3. OMG-LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wonder what kind of luck the above will bring for tomorrow! O_O

Date: 2012-02-16 12:55 am (UTC)4. Their captain is completely lost. Benni thinks they're playing in the round of 16 already, and the tv channel keeps making fun of him http://mediencenter.sport1.de/de/video/fussball/index.html#/0,0_6cak5yfo (the little sound and the "Achtenfinale?" sign)
Yep, alllll today :p
2. It was SO bozarre. XD ... Oddly enough, according to the media reports [google-translated article], previous to arriving, Schalke had asked for the two single beds, and when told the hotel didn't have (enough?), they told them to ether buy some or separate them; otherwise the team wouldn't be able to stay there... and the "hotel opted for the cheaper alternative," sawing them. o.O I honestly don't see how that's cheaper... wouldn't they have to replace them later? o.O
