EUROPA LEAGUE RESULTS AND DRAW for round of 32

It was an exciting end to the group stages of the Europa League, with some surprises. Here are some pics that include my favourite teams/players.

My German team, Schalke, has been amazing, finishing at the top of their group and qualifying easily for the Round of 32.

My other German team, Hannover, beat Vorskla 3-1 and stay in!











PSG vs my Spanish team, Athletic Club Bilbao (PSG are out despite beathing Athletic. Athletic stays in.)































My other Spanish team, Atletico Madrid, has no problem against Rennes and staying in.











Tottenham Hotspur - despite beating Shamrock Rovers 4-0, Spurs needed PAOK to lose. They didn't, so Spurs are out!





























And LOL...Celtic is not one of my teams, but I have to like their fans. XD

OMG, what a match! Junior will be the death of me! O_O They came from a 0-2 deficit to make it 3-2. Bacca scored 2 goals after putting 4 shots off target (one was a penalty). Once Caldas is a really GOOD team, so who knows what will happen in Manizales on Wednesday!!!

Btw, I found out that if Once Caldas wins the league, then Millos will get into the playoff rounds of the Copa Lib, but not if Junior wins. So now I don't know...I mean, Junior won it in December 2009, right? (If I remember correctly.) It was not that long ago. And I would LOVE to see Millos in the Copa Lib! So I guess I don't mind if Junior loses the second leg. If they win, it will be bittersweet. :(

I don't understand it all...

Carlos Bacca has now scored over 100 goals for Junior! He reached the mark last night. I think that's GREAT, since he was there only after Teo left! :)

We'll have to wait and see...it's the Copa Lib qualifications...who has the best record, second best, etc. Nacional is in it because they were the Apertura champion, then the Clausura champion will be in it, and lastly the best placed non-champion. If Junior is champion, then the best-placed non-champion would be Once Caldas, who was in second place. I don't understand why Millos, who was third in the standings, would be in the Copa Lib, because if Once Caldas wins, then why would Junior not go to the Copa Lib when they were first in the standings? confusing!
