SOME OF MY FAVOURITE PLAYERS: A RANDOM SELECTION

I thought I'd post a pic collection of some of my favourites from around the world. This is by no means all of them, because I haven't included any from Germany or Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, etc. It's only a random sample.

Starting in England, this is Franco di Santo, who plays for Wigan Athletic. Franco is from Argentina. :P

And yeah, Franco used to play for Chelsea...

Let's switch to Spain now. This is Leo Ponzio, who used to play for River Plate and is...wait for it...Argentine.

Joel Huiqui, used to be with Cruz Azul, but is now with Monarcas Morelia.

OMG..LOL! You are right about Gerardo Flores! And come to think...Ever Banega has more of a 'Mexican' look than an Argie, IMO. Hahahaha.

Poor Marcelo. He does look somewhat diminished in the b&w colour, but he IS doing VERY well there, and Juve is on top of the league, thanks to Marcelo's help. :/

A friend of mine supports Wigan Athletic and so far I had no clue who plays there, so thanks for broadening my horizons! And my my, Franco di Santo is definitely nice to look at! :D That second pic almost killed me! O____O

LOVE THE ATHLETIC PICS!!! :D I'd seen them all but it clearly doesn't hurt to see them again! XD SO MUCH AWESOME. :D

That pic of Franco Di Santo with JT almost made me wet myself. I mean, there is just SO MUCH 'before and after' subtext in it and I could stare at it for hours and never have it quite figured out. ;)

OMG, as soon as I discovered Tijuana's nickname was Xoloitzcuintles, they had me forever. XDDDDDDDDD

OMFG, YES, Pablo Osvaldo punched his fellow Argentine and pretty boy Erik Lamela IN THE FACE during training a couple of weeks ago, and got suspended for one game. I would DIE to know the details, and a potential fic idea has been swirling around in my head for far too long since then. ;P

Marcelo Estigarribia is from Paraguay and plays for the NT. Even though he has his own website, it doesn't say anything there about Basque roots, so I asked him that question at the site. I'll let you know if it gets answered. ;) LOL @ your 'Basquedar'! It's quite possible that he has Basque ancestry, with that name. (I think he's pretty too!) XDDDDD
