The Mexicans protest, because a goal from Alan Pulido was called offside. It would have meant a tie. It's a shame because the Mexican team is good. :(

Date: 2011-07-31 01:59 pm (UTC)OMG did you SEE the Colombia match??? I stayed up until 2 AM and they STILL didn't show it, went to sleep, woke up at 6 AM and they showed it at 6:30!!!!! WHAT A MATCH!!!!!!!!! They played like seniors - BOTH teams - France is GOOD, but they still got beat 4-1 and it could have been MORE! The crossbar was hit, the post was hit, and James had a second penalty saved. WHAT A TEAM THIS IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!♥
I hope the next match (on Tuesday I think) will not be played at such a shitty time!
I am following James on Twitter too. He is so cute...but he's no Jack Wilshere yet.
I saw the Uruguay match. They showed it instead of the other one that got rain delayed. It was a bit disappointing. Again, Portugal is a good team, but the quality of the match was nowhere near the Colombian one!

Date: 2011-07-31 07:52 pm (UTC)I thought France played very well, and if they were playing another team they would have won! But the Colombians are tooooo good. I hate to jinx them but I think they have what it takes to beat everybody. They just mustn't screw up, and they have to convert all their penalties! :/
