The group stage has begun in this South American version of the Champions League. I love this tournament! Here you can see most of the BEST players in South America, ones that you have watched with their national teams, including the Under-20s, playing here with their club teams. It's all very exciting, and I couldn't resist posting some pics from some of the matches...featuring the teams I am most interested in!

Date: 2011-02-19 08:22 pm (UTC)I love the Junior pics!
And *LOLZZZZZZ* Nico Sanchez (I love his eye colour) wasn't good for River and now he is playing Copa matches and River not. He has found a better team. But it makes me sad for River who had a shitty management.
Good for Vélez - the teams from Chile tied *smiles*
Eial Strahman is very good for Emelec! I hope they can go to the next stage *fingers crossing*
The Inter player's name is Mario Bolatti, the one who played for shit Fiorentina last season

Velez did GREAT. And Godoy Cruz...fantastic! :)
I hope for Emelec! I'd like to see them go further than they did last time! I hope they will! :)
Oops! Thanks for the correction. Of course, I didn't know him...but whoever made the caption for the pic got it wrong! *sigh*

Date: 2011-02-20 07:39 pm (UTC)That's strange with all the former River players. I think the coaches and the management did a lot wrong!
It will be hard for Emelec but there is hope!
