Here are the results from the week's matches, a couple of pics from each game and a list of who is moving into the knockout rounds, etc.

The sweet smell of success...

This one is actually wrong. Shakhtar was the winner, not Partizan.

Seven teams move on, with one round left to play before the knockout stage.

Inter Milan, Manchester United, Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, Schalke 04, Lyon and Valencia all go through. (I got that info from the UEFA site.) I find it odd that Chelsea was not in that list...with 15 points and Marseille behind them with 9 in Group F, I don't see how they wouldn't be considered to have clinched a spot. Ditto for Real Madrid in Group G on 13 points and AC Milan with 8.

Personally, I am hoping that Rubin Kazan (Group D) and Marseille (Group F) will make it through as well. :)

Oh yeah, maybe you're right...it could have been just Wednesday's games they were referring to. I thought it was puzzling...thanks!

My newest crush is Cristian Noboa, the Ecuadorian cutie from Rubin.♥ :P

I'm still in disbelief over the Hapoel-Benfica result. Wow. Wasn't expecting that!

Haha I went nuts over the Bayern-Roma game XD That was so much fun :D
*is on Roma's side*
Borriello's goal was really cool and Totti taking penalty shots is so classic :p

Maybe Benfica doesn't travel well. :(

Ahh, yes, the Bayern-Roma game looked like it must have been fun to watch. I didn't see it, of course. :(

(I would be on Roma's side too.) XD

Hahaha...that was a hilarious pic of Lisandro and Neuer. :)

I think you're right...I was certainly puzzled by that 'partial' list. :/

Let's just clarify this - I do not like Roma. HOWEVER, what a great come back it was for them in that game. The Italian teams need to keep winning in the Champions League so that as many Italian teams as possible can continue to participate in the tournament.
