Oh no!

The Reds have done it JENNIFER!

Our boys continue to make club history as they have officially advanced to the Group Stage in the prestigious CONCACAF Champions League (CCL)!  This is a massive accomplishment and they couldn't have done it without the fantastic crowd at BMO Field last week.

We are now guaranteed 6 more matches, including 3 at home in the friendly confines of BMO Field.

Our first home match is scheduled for Tuesday, August 17 at 8:00 p.m. vs Cruz Azul (Mexico). The other two home matches are expected to occur in September and October, we'll let you know the details as soon as they are confirmed by the tournament organizers. As a member of the Waiting List we have arranged an exclusive pre-sale for you to purchase CCL tickets on Thursday, August 5, at 10:00 a.m.

I blew all my frigging money on tickets to the Canada vs Peru game next month!!!!

I am looking forward to seeing Canada v Peru too...I have never been to an international match before.

But...damn. I've got to find a way to go to the Cruz Azul game! :(

Sorry for my late reply. I had to wait for the Cruz Azul tickets to go on pre-sale. I ended up paying $102.50 per ticket, or $225 overall for a pair, including delivery charges, tax, etc.

The Canada-Peru tickets were $108.75 each, or $223.25 for the pair including taxes, and delivery was extra.

*sigh*

So you can see how it kills me to go to matches! :(

Holy shit, tickets are really expensive over there. O__O I paid 16€ for the Supercup between Bayern and Schalke tonight! Seriously, your league is insane!

OMG, thanks for your generosity, Bill, but I'm fine, really! I was feeling the pinch a bit because I bought tons of stuff for the baby that Olivia needed as well as paying a humungous dental bill for some dental surgery that Sean had a couple of weeks ago. It just seemed like a lot all at once and I had to dip into my travel savings to pay for the tickets! Oh, and of course, I had bought a few shirts and things in June when the World Cup was on, so just lately I've been spending a lot. I must save from now until Christmas, because I want to come to Europe again maybe next May or June! XDDD
