It's true there does seem to be a huge amount of midfielders now, and not so many defenders or strikers! It makes me think that some players must be leaving within the next month, but who....????? :(

I have heard rumours that Granero, Lass, Mahmoud Diarra, Royston Drenthe and Van der Vaart will be leaving.

Awww, yeah, I've followed Khedira for probably 4 years now and one of the first slashfics I wrote involved him and Fernando Meira who was a teammate at the time. So I have a soft spot for him. :)

It's just a sad coincidence that he plays in a similar position to Fer. But I seriously wonder if Mourinho wants to use a double-pivot system all the time and therefore needs some depth in that position. Either that or he wants to play either Sami or Fer further forward. I've heard rumours that Fer is going to stay, but some of the other mids like Van der Vaart, Drenthe, Lass, Mahmoud and Granero will be leaving. All just rumour, of course, but it's scary that there is a month to go before we know for sure our faves are safe. *bites nails*

Hahaha. Today I posted some pics of Sami training. He looks so hot...LOL. Doesn't he ROCK the cardigan? I thought so too. I saw a vid of him arriving for his medical while wearing it. He looked so strong and sexy and I almost died. And he's HUGE...I mean, I had no idea he was so BIG. O_O

@Messi! I know! When did it happen? It's like he went from little boy to sexy boy overnight or something! XD

I'm still a bit skeptical about the transfer of Sami Khedira but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate him as a person. Gorgeous pics!

OMG, that pic of Esteban! I wish he'd kept his hair that long, he looked so deliciously scruffy. Not that he doesn't still look delicious, of course, but still!

(I still wish the Godín transfer hadn't happened. As much as I love and adore Marchena, I've gotten so used to Gonzalo and Godín in the defense.)
