I would FLIP the hell out if Sami came to Madrid! I LOVE that kid! Omg... I mean, I like Di María a lot and was happy about those rumours (and happy when he made the move) but SAMI! He's awesome, I'd love to see him in Madrid! I'd love to see him anywhere in Spain, actually, just so I can follow him without having to follow the Bundesliga, lol. He is the biggest reason I've watched Germany through WC.
And just putting this out there- Marcos' bun is amazing.

I love Sami too! Of course, a lot of teams seem to be interested in him so Real Madrid may not want to pursue it. Sami really is awesome. He's played great for Germany throughout the WC.

Awww...it probably won't happen. But I like Sami a LOT. And Real Madrid could use some depth to compete in the Champions League as well as La Liga. :)

Apparently, there are negotiations going on. I'm just afraid of the unfair competition. A World Cup 'star' won't have to prove himself for a place on the starting XI. Fer will be warming the bench. And concerning depth, Fer and Xabi take turns in going from box to box when they play together.

I've read so many different things! I've read that Mourinho is looking for a new box-to-box player and when I read that I thought, "But you have Fer, you idiot!"

Then I read this article, which claims he wants to keep Fer! So who knows! Incidentally, I love when Fer and Xabi play together...it works for me. They seem to be able to read each other and I find the play is sharper all around when those two are together on the pitch.

I read that article at MARCA. On one hand, it's MARCA and they're full of shit, but they're also the paper that is closest to Pérez. I hope it's true, for Fer. Would be so great if a coach finally appreciates him.

Fer is very under-appreciated, as are defensive mids usually, or so I've heard. But if Mourinho is as good and thorough a coach as they say, then I am sure he will see Fer's strengths.

Arne is gone but I just read after I made the post that my Canadian boy Rob Friend is transferring from Borussia Moenchengladbach to Hertha and he doesn't see it as a step down because Hertha to him is a BIG club and will come back up!

I am happy that Simon Kjaer is making the move!

Zucu must want to be with a 'friend' at Napoli. However, a better move would have been to Atletico Madrid to be with his bf Eduardo Salvio!

There is something rather naive and innocent about us Canadians. It is our charm. LOL.

Mexico always seems to have a lot of activity within the league. It's almost impossible to keep up with it, so I guess I'll just wait and see what happens.

I have decided to open a Mexico comm after all. Just because there is so much and if I am going to watch the games I need somewhere to put info. It's too specialized an interest for me to put it all in my own journal and only have one or two flisters looking at it.

Moreno doesn't know yet about Racing and especially their new coach, that fucker Russo.
