MY WORLD CUP TEAMS: THE NETHERLANDS

The Netherlands is in Group E along with Denmark (another of my faves), Japan and Cameroon. I like The Netherlands more for the overall team and the way they play, rather than for the individual players, most of whom I don't know anything about.

I talked to Kevin about the game schedule of the tournament. I told him that he would watch soccer with me on the telly. He really liked that idea.

Afellay really has that babyface still, although that smirk... Hmmm.

YEAHHHHHHH!!!

It should be a very exciting World Cup. I remember from the last one that one of my favourite games and one of the most memorable was the one between The Netherlands and Argentina. It was fascinatingly contentious. I hope you and Kevin enjoy the matches! :)

In the last WC one of my favourite matches was The Netherlands vs Argentina. It was WILD. I've never seen Dirk so feisty. I think he made his name in that game and I came away with so much respect for that team, even though at the time I thought they were dirty. LOL.

OK, my personal nationalities are English, Scottish, German and Dutch. Scotland didn't make it into the WC, obviously, and now I've done picspams of my other national teams. (Of course I was born in Canada but our team didn't make it either...did you know Canada is going to play a friendly against Argentina?) :)

I will watch England vs Mexico over Argentina vs Canada although it will be hard to miss the latter match! But I NEED to watch the first game! Mexico is my #1 FAVOURITE and England is #3 or #4...I haven't decided yet! :)
