Has someone ever told you they would be with you forever?
I can't remember that far back. It sounds like something a young guy would say, before he knows much about life. They used to say those things in order to get into my pants. LOL.
Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed?
Sometimes open, though I'd prefer them all to be closed. It's more an esthetic thing than a 'fear' thing.
What did you do last night?
Ate a special late dinner of fruit...a pear, some orange segments and some cut-up strawberries. Then I was bad and had part of a HUGE chocolate Easter rabbit that was left over from Sean's Easter haul that he didn't want anymore. I washed it down with herbal tea and some digestive enzymes so it would flush out this morning.
Best friend?
Who would that be? That's a tough one. When I was young, all my best friends died. It was horrible. First there was Marilyn. She died of breast cancer in her 20s because of her work. After that I made friends with Moon Lin and she was killed on her way to work one morning. Then Elaine...she died from a heart attack. Then Louise...an aneurysm. The last best friend I lost was Janet. Another heart attack. That one was the most devastating of all...that one and the first one...Marilyn was far too young and I loved Janet dearly. I refuse to make 'best friends' anymore.
Do you think you will be in a relationship 3 months from now?
Oh sure. I don't think my marriage will break up anytime soon. LOL.
Did you get a full 8 hours of sleep last night?
No. :( OMG, Sean has come down with a cold and last night he hardly slept at all. He insisted on sleeping with ME, and kept waking me up all night to whine his nose was stuffy or running, or that he had to pee, or that he was scared. He wanted the TV on at 3:30 this morning and just basically drove me crazy. I'm so tired right now my eyes are only half open.
What is bothering you right now?
The fact that because I had to stay home today to take care of Sean I can't go to the meeting at his school this afternoon! It has to do with his periodical assessments (he is autistic and in a regular school program) and his placement next semester. (He will be going to a new school that has special ME (multiple exceptionality) classes for students with disabilities. It'll be good for him.)

Is there a high chance of you going to the movies soon?
Absolutely. I love going to the movies. I miss Olivia because she and I would take Sean and it's more fun with three than two!
If you were given $100, would you spend it or save it?
I'd probably buy something with it, or go out!

No, but the TV is on...to something called 'Survivorman'.

Cloudy all day but no rain!

Sure, we could win the lottery, I would not have to work again, I could get the chauffeur I want (ideally a hot Latino boy) and just relax all summer. XD
What are you looking forward to the next couple months?
The World Cup, some vacation time (if my boss goes somewhere then I'll be forced to take time off too...I'm not going anywhere until next year, although I'd LOVE to get away somewhere this summer.) I might make a last-minute decision to go to a 'Kids Club' vacation in Mexico and take Sean with me.

Doing my next picspam, eating lunch, possibly taking a nap and reading another chapter of my current book, 'Paradise' by Patrick Dennis.

My sister Linda for everything and my daughter Olivia for some things but nothing that would freak her out.

LOL. Luckily I swept it this morning. Sean had spilled some popcorn. OK, right now there's a tray with a can of Sprite on it, Sean's mattress we dragged in here last night and his pillow. One of the cats is sleeping on it. My handbag is also sitting on the floor next to my night table. I guess that's all...oh, I think I see a couple of popcorn kernels that I missed.

Yes. OMG. My first boyfriend, John. I thought he was so HOT. He was a GREAT kisser. We were only 16 and he broke my heart when he went with his family to England for a vacation. At the time it seemed like forever even though it was only for the summer...two months. But when he got back things had changed. I had moved on to my next bf named Bill...and John had met someone else too. *sigh* Young love!

I thought, "Shit, I have to phone the school and tell them Sean is at home sick and I have to miss the meeting...and oh yeah, I have to phone work too and tell them I'm not coming."

Relax! Sean should be going to a relative's house for respite care and maybe we can go out for a nice dinner. Today's our wedding anniversary but we can't go out because Sean is here.

I met him through a friend at work. Several of us used to get together every Friday night after work at the Wheat Sheaf Tavern, a Toronto trademark. One time we all brought at least one friend. A guy named Nick brought Eddie, my husband, and I truly thought he had hit it off that night with Mary, another girl from the office. And Nadia, the girlfriend I brought along, had the hots for Eddie but somehow he and I ended up together! I think because we both loved sports. At that time he was playing baseball (he used to play soccer too) and asked me if I'd like to go to one of his games. The rest is history. LOL.

Is love always enough in a relationship?
It should be! But I guess if there are other problems it can be destroyed. I'm thinking if one of the parties got involved with drugs or alcohol to the point it changed their personalities, then there would be a problem. Other things too, for sure. Some people would not be able to forgive an infidelity...others could. But I guess for most people there are always some things that would not be tolerable in the other person, even if they both loved each other initially.

Oh god, once I saw this horrendous thing called 'Teorema'. The reviewers raved about it but I hated it with a passion...I could NOT see the point and it was just so terrible frustrating!

Holy shit. A few...let me think. I actually detest AC/DC although lots of people will think I'm crazy. It's just that high-pitched singing voices grate on my ears and annoy the frigging hell out of me.
Special Events in your life
The happiest moment of your life?
Believe it or not, despite traveling to some of the most fantastic places and loving them, meeting some AMAZING people and eating DELICIOUS food, I think the time I felt the MOST joy was right after I gave birth to my daughter. I had the total OPPOSITE of post-natal depression. You could call it post-natal ELATION.
The funniest thing that happened to you with your friends?
Oh god there are so many things...OK the first thing I thought of was when four of us were going home by train from a late night out. We took the train because we were all drinking and there was no way we could drive. One of us, the one who had to get off first, Bev, first picked up a guy on the train...he was totally drunk, just like us. When she got up to leave, she made him take her seat. We were in a group of 4 seats all facing each other. He was a total stranger but when he discovered that Jane was English, and from the same place in England as him, he totally started blubbering like a baby and even put his head on her shoulder and snivelled all over her coat! We had to travel like that for an hour before the other girls got off, leaving me alone with him! OMG, I never laughed so hard once I got off that train, leaving poor Brian, I think his name was, all alone, not even knowing where he was going!
The nicest thing someone has ever said to you?
OMG, again the first thing I can think of was when I was walking along the street and a guy was walking behind me with his gf. He suddenly tapped me on the shoulder and when I turned around he said, "I'm sorry to bother you but I just had to tell you you have the most beautiful legs I've ever seen in my life." That totally floored me and I've never forgotten it. A similar thing happened as well when I was on line for the bus. A guy told me I had the most beautiful hair. LOL. These things are nice when they happen!

The best gift someone has ever given you?
That's very easy! My grandmother took me to England for the summer when I aced all my grades at school! It was the year I turned 11.
One of the best memories you have of a loved one?
My dad taking us to Quebec for the summer and the night we returned home, the day before school started up again, he took us all out for a lovely dinner at a posh restaurant and we all got to order whatever we wanted. It was a beautiful summer, we all got along great, I had met a very dishy French boy, and I was just going to start high school.
