The match against Brazil was one of the all-time best that I have seen! Getting up early (or staying up late) to watch them rocked. It was special times. *sigh*
AW, SHIT!!!! I was SO afraid that would happen if Ever got called up! While I am happy for Ever, I feel that Fer needs this more right now! OMG, poor Fer. This is horrible for him. :(
Only today, I found an article which says that Messi, Higuaín and Banega are probably the three ones who will be at the WC for sure at this time of the year. Not sure how reliable it is. I will translate the article for the comm... at the weekend.
OK, I can see those 3 for the WC because that is a lot more important than a friendly and for that you cannot fool around. The most in-form and match-fit players have to be on the WC squad. But I just read an article from a Jamaican newspaper that said Jamaica is only going to field a lesser team for the friendly. So why not give Fer some playing time? Boost his ego a bit? He would NOT hurt them! On the other hand, maybe Diego wants to see how Ever fits in with the Argie team and feels it is necessary for him to be there. I don't know. I just feel bad for Fer and I guess I am biased in his favour, even though I like Ever a LOT!

I think, I biased there, too, though I also like Éver. Fer will always be a bit more loved. But sure, it's understandable that he's not getting a starting position when he never plays in Madrid. And yeah, I agree there are pros and cons for playing him or Éver play in a friendly, too... *sigh* It's complicated, at times I wish I would be in charge and sometimes I am glad, I'm not!

haha yeah. It's even worse when you see pics of when they played for the U-20 team lol. The other day they were showing matches from the 94 WC and oh gooood, young Simeone and Batistuta, I almost died. haha.
I lost pretty much all my pictures when my computer crashed so I'm trying to find them again and this helps so much. You rock for doing this picspam. I miss the Olympics so much, those were some good times.
