turn! turn! turn! the bundesliga season for better or for worse

When I was watching events unfold yesterday, I couldn't help thinking of the old song that The Byrds made famous. But Turn! Turn! Turn! was written by Pete Seeger in 1959 and made into an international hit by The Byrds in 1965.

To everything there is a season...
...a time to get and a time to lose...
...a time to mourn and a time to dance...
...a time to keep and a time to cast away...

Those are some of the lyrics, the ones I found most appropriate for the situation.

Here are photos from yesterday's matches. Not all, but just some of the teams I like, and ones that were affected by their own results as well as others.

For Hertha Berlin, it's good, because they won decisively, thereby helping to relegate Cologne, and ensuring they will play a team from the 'B' in order to try and win the chance to stay in the top flight.

MLS PICS AND STUFF

What have I just done? I vowed to save my money, but I have just spent a wallop on tickets to see The Montreal Impact play Toronto FC in the Canadian qualifying game for this season's CONCACAF Champions League this coming Wednesday. O_O

Ah well, I haven't been to a match in quite a while, and it will be my first chance to see Torsten Frings in the flesh! :)
