THE COSTA RICAN NATIONAL TEAM: A PICSPAM

The WC 2010 playoff series between Costa Rica and Uruguay is one of the most exciting ones. Only one of these teams can qualify for the World Cup and it will be sad to see the other go out. The first leg of the playoff series took place yesterday in Saprissa, Costa Rica, and Uruguay won 1 - 0. It looks like Costa Rica will most likely not make it, so with that in mind I thought I'd do a picspam of the team. It is a good-looking team as well as a talented one, and will be missed.

Date: 2009-11-15 03:52 pm (UTC)Some time before you have psoted Alvaro Saborio and now I know a bit more 'Ticos'!
Like I said they played good yesterday night, maybe they were the better team but Uruguay won and it was one happy moment for me!
Other happy moment was Emanuel Villa's goal in minute 90 vs Chivas! YEAH!!!! Cruz Azul! But sad Omar Arellano was not good to watch! I couldn't watch the match because no stream for a mexican match worked!
Let's hope for some more matches tonight.

Date: 2009-11-15 04:23 pm (UTC)The Ticos are very sexual, hot players. They ooze sex all over the pitch. I WANT TO SEE THEM in the next leg!!! I will find a stream!
Did they play good? I guess they are fighting with all they have!
But thank god for the Urus. I would cry if they did not make it. I would not cry if the Ticos did not, although it would be nice to see them there.
YEAHHHHHH for Cruz Azul! I saw the result and a pic of Rogelio Chavez!!!! An action and a press con!
I am nervous about the Millos match. I have to wait until later for it. Also the other station is showing the San Lorenzo vs Independiente game. That will be good too.
Oh FUCK. I almost forgot! Did you know Bruno Marioni is retiring from football???? On the news I saw him giving a press conference about it!!! SO SO SAD!!!! I want to CRY!!!! :(

Date: 2009-11-15 06:34 pm (UTC)San Lorenzo vs Independiente should be a good match.
I wanna see the Urus playing in South Africa! 'Ticos' played very good!
You can always see pics from press con. You aree happy!!! I wanna see Rogelio Chavez, because in action he is really good to watch, he is very passioneted!

Date: 2009-11-15 06:54 pm (UTC)No! No more Bruno Marioni! He is only 34 but after this season he is GONE! I hope he will change his mind. But he has not looked happy this past season...I noticed it before. :(
I am looking forward to a good match today. San Lore vs El Rojo will be great because I do not LOVE either team, but I like them. The outcome will not hurt me.
Me too. I want to see the Urus in the WC!
Luckily GOLTV shows press con pics and every Thursday has an interview with one 'big star'. This past Thursday it was Gonzalo Higuain.

Date: 2009-11-16 12:53 am (UTC)OMG Independiente were fantastic! Everything was working for them! I think Cuqui Silvera was inspired playing against his old team, and Tuzzio! He was all over the pitch, joining in on everything! LOL. He made some nice runs up the pitch with the ball! I didn't know he was that fast! Hahahahaha. Isn't he a central defender? He could have been playing at right back. I missed most of the first half and I missed his goal!!! :( But they will show the game again during the week and I will watch the WHOLE thing then!
Can you get GOLTV where you are?

Date: 2009-11-16 03:03 am (UTC)Independiente has a run.... Tuzzio played tonight as a right back and he IS fast! He is creating chances! He is playing with head and heart!
Cuqui is good for Independiente and tonight he was good against his former San Lorenzo *smiles* I have nothing against San Lorenzo but a soft spot for the team in red! I really like some players there!
Tuzzio scored vs GELP and not tonight.
I cannot get GOL.TV :(

Date: 2009-11-16 01:51 pm (UTC)Good for Independiente! I LOVE to see Tuzzio happy! I really need to kiss him and tell him that he has fans who CARE.
I hope Cuqui will be consistent and play well ALL the time, not just when he feels like it.
GOLTV should break into Europe. I am sure there would be a demand there to see South American leagues. Even some people might like the Brasileirao. Can you access it online? If you visit their website, there might be a way to do it.
