jenni_blogI've been wanting to rave and gush more in this journal about some of the Bundesliga teams and players. The Bundesliga is an extremely exciting and vibrant league with many talented players. It will probably take me years to do picspam tributes of every player that I admire in it. But here is one of the best. I think he is vying with both Javier Saviola and Sergio Aguero for most pics taken without shirt on! Here, therefore, is the very adorable and extremely talented and photogenic midfielder for Werder Bremen:
Diego was born 28 february 1985 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He started playing with Santos FC when he was 12! (For the youth team. He began playing for the first team when he was 16.) He was first called up by Brazil's National Team for the 2004 Copa America. He is very close with Robinho of Real Madrid. They both played for and were stars on Santos. Diego has been with Werder Bremen since May 2006 after a short stint at FC Porto where he did not do well.
