Not to worry! While our local creek is rather dry and there are no fish in it, and the berries along the trail are pretty much all picked, there is another, larger creek nearby with lots of fish. Some bear cubs have been seen by locals there, so the hikers are wary that the mother may be close by and will keep their eyes and ears open.
