I'm with you, Jenni! I don't make New Year's resolution anymore. Who needs artificially created failures! I'd rather look back on the year that passed and think, "Wow! Success! I made it through another year and am still here!"
We had one or two ridiculously short-lived snow--basically snow turning to rain. I did run outside once and take a photo of snow that was on the ground for a few hours. Scary if one thinks about it. I seem to recall a winter or two in my childhood where there was very little snow in an area of the U.S. which usually has a significant number of snow days every year if nothing like the Great White North!
One of my favorite Canadian men skaters Roman Sadovsky finally won gold in the Canadian National Championships! I've been waiting for him for years to come into his promise. He has the style I love--beautiful lines, grace, and musicality!
