Ok this is just a test to see if the post goes in. I'm trying to find another way to get on LJ without using my l laptop until I can give Sean his own laptop for his birthday next month because he keeps taking mine. Next I'm going to see if I can read my list and leave comments.

Yes, I'm so happy that there is another source for posting on LJ through Kindle Fire. (Btw, I have finished two of my other books and have started on Unspoken again. Should be finished within a few days and then I can try to post a really good review in the various locations I'm involved with.)

Oh my gosh, we in Canada are not used to this kind of thing. I'm happy I don't live in Ottawa but just the same I'm horrified for all the people who do live there. The situation seems rather chaotic right now but what bothers me is that this morning we heard there were warnings of an imminent attack that had been upgraded to 'medium'. I'm not sure what sort of steps the government took to try to thwart an attack, but in this situation with a lone gunman and not a widespread series of bombings or something that would kill a great number of people (like, say, at an airport) I don't think there would have been any way to prevent it. However, yesterday some members of the Armed Forces were involved in another incident involving someone associated with ISIS so it would seem the military is a target right now and not so much civilian people.

Other Mrs Moon told me about what was happening and she was really surprised about it, just like me.
I mean, Canada, that's our liberators and a nice country where nothing ever really happens.
