MLS WEEKEND MATCHES (Montreal vs Chicago, Seattle vs Toronto)
New expansion team Montreal Impact had its opening home game on the weekend. The turnout was spectacular - over 60,000 fans, I believe. Montreal drew the Chicago Fire 1 - 1 which I didn't think was too bad for their first game. Montreal is also quite an attractive team, so while they may be a rival of Toronto, I couldn't resist posting a few pics (Montreal is in blue.):

Toronto flew to Seattle to play the Sounders and were defeated 3 - 1. Unfortunately, Captain Torsten Frings was injured and will be out for 6 weeks. This is a blow because they will miss him for the semi-finals of the CONCACAF Champions League. :(
Pics from the match:
Seattle fans hoist banners depicting the coach, Sigi Schmidt and playmaker Fredy Montero.
