Naples is a crazy, crazy place. I went there with a tour group and they literally told us to stay in at our hotel and not go anywhere cause it wasn't safe. Of course we didn't listen. LOL Good to see Napoli make it through. Italy needs to get more teams into the final stages as they have been somewhat pathetic over these last few years.

Did you see any of the Real Madrid match? I saw some highlights and it looked like Higuain may have been captain for that game? Do you know?

It's funny, because I had booked us to go to Naples from Munich, but a hotel waiter in Munich whom we met and who was from Naples told us it wasn't safe there and warned us not to go anywhere alone. On the taxi ride from the airport to our hotel, we passed the stadium and I took a picture of it. It's a very scary-looking place. O_O So we never went to the match there. :(

I was surprised to find that 3 Italian teams have moved on in the CL, compared to 2 English teams!

Darn, no. The Real Madrid game was on while I was still at work, so I didn't see it, unfortunately. :(

If, say, the CL semi-finals were sometime in the future between Liverpool, Spurs, Benfica and Hertha, then would it finally not be interesting? Just because it was boring last year and the year before, does not mean it is 100% boring THIS year, and maybe next year things will change more.

Things are always changing! Benfica is still in it, for instance! Some 'different' teams are in it! I rest my case. :)

It is almost always boring! Too many Italian teams and too many teams from Russia (Eastern Europe generell) If it would be always Liverpool it wouldn't be boring!
Wait for the draw and you will see what will happen. Benfica has to play in Russia in February!!! It fucking COLD there!!! Why not Real or Barca??? The Italians will get the 'easy' oponents! It's fucking shit!
The CL will never change! I think your interests are changing. You may say 'no' but that's my oppinon.
What teams are interesting for you??? Russians? Italians? Than I will never again say a word about football to you. Maybe that will be the best!

No, my interests are not changing. When I do a picspam it can be of one of my favourite teams, or it can be only because the pictures themselves are interesting, or of players I like, no matter where they play. For me football is not a SERIOUS thing. I never take it that seriously that I hold grudges or have hatreds. (Okay, I will say I hate some teams/players but it's all said in fun.) So when I say I happily agree to disagree with someone else's opinion, I really mean it. Or that I refuse to get into an argument over something I don't consider SERIOUS at all, because there are far too many more important things in life to get into arguments over. In my opinion, sports is a game, and games should be FUN. While I can understand having passion for a sport, I also put it into perspective that I have been a fan of many sports through all my different stages of life. This type of football is a more recent interest. Before that I loved baseball and knew everything about the sport. And shortly after that it was American-style-NFL football that claimed my passionate interest. Now it is this kind of football. I've always said my tastes are always changing, and that I go with what interests me at that time. And I don't mind it if others disagree with me. That's just life, and it's all okay. :)

Nothing against taking it not serious. For sure football should be fun. I know interests are changing but some basics will never change or imo it is not honest.

Others disagree with you but you will never disagree with one other person, you will always try to please them all (except me, because you know me in person or maybe I'm the only one who tells you the truth)

Okay, that's good to hear, because I really love football to be fun and I cannot help if my likes/dislikes change because it is always for a reason!

Oh sorry, I missed the question! My CL teams right now are in this oreder: #1: Benfica, #2: Arsenal, #3: Real madrid, #4: Bayer Leverkusen. The rest I don't care what happens to them. Okay, maybe if I had to pick one other, it would be Chelski. Only because it's an EPL team and I like Andres Villas Boas and Raul Meireles and I hope they haven't made a terrible mistake.

I do have a terrible habit of wanting to please everyone, and because of the profession I work in, it has fed that bad habit for too many years, because at work I do have to please everyone. :/

With you I feel I have that special kind of relationship where we can be completely honest with each other. I was a bit worried that you thought I might be 'in love' with certain people if I posted their pictures. Not true. I just might post them because I liked the pics, that's all. (Like I will post pics of Juventus, because I like Juventus and some of its players...and I will admit to 'looking for' pics of Marcelo. Also AS Roma. While I don't really care about the team, I do like Erik Lamela, Pablo Osvaldo and maybe some others.) ;)

I can agree with the CL teams, except Real (I told you and we bet Real will win it) and I will be pissed off for longer because I hate that club with all my passion! (except Xabi Alonso)
I thought you would love the Russians or the Italians.

You know I love Marcelo for Paraguay but Juve is Italian and I cannot like him playing there. It's the same with other players playing for shit teams!
I know you follow some players... that's totally okay for me but sometimes it looked as if you would love the teams too!

I like him, too. I wasn't sure what to think of him at the beginning but he's a nice guy and a great player. It's a pity that he gets so little playing time but he reminds me of Gonzalo. They both score and give their best with as little time as they get. Don't complain but fight and score. I like that.

And I need a Callejón icon... maybe I'll do some icons soon again... My Christmas gift for my friends.

I seriously need to make some La Liga icons. All I have are 'old'. Now that footballverse is in hiatus maybe I will have more time. And I guess I can use some that I made for that. ;)
