BUNDESLIGA PICSPAM: FIRST TWO WEEKS

You can always count on the Bundesliga to provide many provocative pics. They are usually amusing and heart-warming, but sometimes scary and sad.

So first, here is the table as it stands after the first two weeks of play. Only 2 teams are perfect so far with 2 wins, those being Mainz and Hannover. But there's such a long way to go. Still, good starts for these 2 teams.

Awww poor injured Benni (thanks for all the pics of him, btw! ♥). He has back pain and might not be able to play EL-quali tomorrow. We're so screwed for that game. We have no defenders to field (ok, we really only have 3,of which only 1 would have played otherwise), and that includes defensive mids. (They're all injured or out with reds...carrying over from 2006. yes.) And then we have no Farfan and no Raul. Yeah we're so gonna win this. :|

It's nice to see Marcus Rosenberg's happy face back in the Bundesliga.

Poldi provides so much entertainment...it wouldn't be the same without him. XD

Benni and his expressions! I thought I had more pics too...don't know what I did with them. :(

Well, if it's like it is here, the stadium has a theme day for visitors at times, with crazy giveaways...because you know they are going to end up on the pitch! Once they gave out seat cushions here...they made lovely missiles but it was quite disconcerting to see thousands of them flying all over the pitch like so many giant frisbees being launched. I would guess the CDs were something like that. :/

Certain teams/players ALWAYS give us great photos! (Schalke, Benni, Raul, Dortmund, various players, Hamburg, Paolo Guerrero, some others, Wolfsburg, Kjaer, lots of others...Cologne, Poldi for sure!) XDDD
