GERMANY AND SPAIN: OPPOSITES ATTRACT

LOL. What I mean by 'opposites attract' is that while Spain readies itself for today's quarter-final game against Italy (and I am sure the tension in that dressing room is palpable), the German players are enjoying a relaxing day off at their hotel. Hi there! Okay, here's how to find all the awesome pics that I do. Thousands of them!

Type yahoo sports into your browser.
Click on soccer on the grey toolbar at the top of the page.
Once you're on the soccer page, scroll down to latest photos on the left of the page.
Click on gallery (below the pics).
Then you can page through the photos, or you can go to the Sports Search button at the top of the page, type in a specific name like David Silva or German National Team and at the bottom-right of the page that pops up, click on more. Then you'll get the first page of photos and you can page through them all.

You know what absolutely baffles me? I've now saved about 428 pics of Spain training during the Euro - and MOST OF THESE AREN'T AMONGST THEM. O_O Where do you always get such awesome, high-res pictures? I'm AMAZED. Your picspams really are the best.

And awww, those pics of the German team! I especially love the ones of Philipp and Arne playing table tennis. They already had a very amusing competition during the World Cup, and I'm glad they're continuing that! :)

LOL. Most of the pics come from yahoo sports.com. They had lovely spreads from the euros. I find most of their pics are very high quality and of course, they don't have watermarks. Two other sources that aren't too bad are daylife.com and sportsYa.com. Others I find randomly but I have to say most of my stash comes from yahoo. They post literally hundreds per weekend, so it is a lot of work sometimes to sift through them all and pick out only the ones I like best. And then after awhile the pics disappear. You can't wait more than a couple of weeks after an event to glomp the pics, or they'll be gone!
