One of my favourite Colombian footballers is leaving Junior Barranquilla to move to Russia. While I do believe it is important for talented young footballers to move to Europe and gain experience, I will miss him dreadfully at one of my favourite teams. :(

Hopefully this will be a good move for him. I'd like to see him play for the NT but Colombia has so many good strikers who are all more experienced. I think Lokomotiv is playing in the Europa League next season? (Or THIS season if it's already started.) If so, maybe I can see him. :)

Btw, I've seen some nice pics of Luka in training...looking happy...all smiles. :)

yes they're in europa league and so is spartak! and so will be rubin unless it by some miracle passes cl qualification.... and yeah for now it's this season, next season starts after the euro! so weird with the calendar switch:D

I think a lot of these young South Americans want to go to Europe thinking that it will be a great experience. Some of them like it a lot...others will fail. All I know is that I will miss Carlos at Junior! :(
