TEAM MEXICO: A RECENT PICSPAM

Does anyone here like the Mexico NT? (I decided to take a little break from the Euros for a second - LOL.)
Mexico is currently getting ready for the CONCACAF qualifiers for the World Cup 2010, same as the South American teams are getting ready for theirs. CONCACAF comprises the three national teams from North America, plus Central America and the nearby island nations, like Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Belize, to name a few.
The Mexican team has had its share of drama recently. Hugo Sanchez had all but destroyed a once great national team, and was fired. I was shocked when Sven Goran Ericksson was hired as new coach, not because I don't love Sven, but I didn't think it was a good fit. Some of the players agreed with me. LOL. But we'll see how he does. I always thought Sven was good at picking the right players for his team. I thought he did great at Manchester City and was saddened by that departure as well.
Anyway, after the coaching change, Mexico went out and beat Peru 4-1 on June 8th. Here are some pics from that match and some training ones.
Oswaldo Sanchez makes a stop. Oswaldo recently had his share of drama too. He was arrested in a Chicago hotel room for some sort of disturbance. Oswaldo swears he is not an alcoholic and protests he is innocent of any wrongdoing.

This is Sergio Santana going for a header.

This is Sergio Ponce.

Ricardo Osorio vs Juan Cominges.

Ricardo Osorio and Fernando Arce.

Luis Perez vs Nobby Solano of Peru.

Adrian Aldrete vs Nobby Solano.

Luis Perez vs Juan Marino.

Johnny Magallon vs Paolo Guerrero.
