I don't know what to say other than you have pretty much captured the highlights of my weekend from Pastore to Napoli/Lazio to Amauri. It's like you read my brain.

Pastore: I can't believe how amazing this boy is. He was injured (well, more like he wasn't 100%) and he still scored a hat-trick in the Sicilian derby. Unbelievable! Every week I watch him he just keeps getting better.

Napoli/Lazio - In a perfect world these two teams will finish top four in Serie A. I expected a bit more from Napoli in this game but it still turned out to be a great competition between two hard working teams. No major stars on the field...just some good all round players. Cavani and Muslera, of course, are my favs and I can't wait to see them together for Uruguay this week.

Amauri - ok so he isn't playing that well right now but quite simply, the man is HOT. Although based on the comments I usually get back I may be the one of the few who thinks so...LOL - to each his own.

Thanks for the great picspam and may I again commend your excellent taste in Serie A selections. It has been quite a good year for these boys so far. Let's hope Palermo, Napoli and Lazio can keep it up all season.

Thank you! I wish I could have seen the Palermo/Napoli match and Pastore's three goals. I first saw him when he was still in Argentina with Huracan and his team played in the final against Velez Sarsfield. That was his last game before he moved to Italy. And what a success! Shortly thereafter he was called up to the Argentina national team and I think he will become a fixture there. He has been called the Kaka of Argentina. I hope he will continue to have great success. He is a very exciting newcomer to watch.

Lazio is another favourite team of mine (along with Juve, whom I can't seem to shake as my favourite much as I've tried...*sigh*). Cavani and Muslera are two of my favourites as well, and of interest, Mauro Zarate used to play with Velez Sarsfield who are again on top of the table in Argentina this season.

There is no doubt in my mind that Amauri is one of the hottest players currently. But yes...others will have different opinions. I don't know if you saw this in FourFourTwo, but in a recent poll among female journalists to choose the hottest players in La Liga, the top five were: Aitor Ocio and Fernando Llorente (Athletic Bilbao), Pablo Osvaldo (Espanyol), Xabi Alonso (Real Madrid) and Gerard Pique (Barcelona). It's hard to disagree with the first three, and while I consider Xabi a fairly good-looking guy, I'd say there are others on the Real Madrid team who are hotter, and I simply cannot agree with the choice of Gerard Pique for #5! But to each his own. I know many females who think Pique is hot.

I certainly hope that those three Il Calcio teams can keep it up, as well as for Juve to do better! :)

You're welcome! I saw only the Lazio match and the Milan derby. I would have loved to have seen the Palermo game and Pastore's three goals!

SO SORRY to be so late with this!!!! :(

Pastore is just so awesome, isn't he? LOL. The pink tape is pretty bright! Unfortunately, the green boots don't really go with the outfit, but I guess if he wore pink boots he'd get laughed at. XD

I'm kind of amused by Palermo's muscle tape being pink

Oh god. I cannot believe I forgot to reply to a WHOLE SECTION of comments from awhile ago! *facepalm* I am so sorry.

I wanted to reply to this because I think I know what Cavani has on his t-shirt. I can make out the partial word 'cumpli' so I presume it's someone's birthday. Or he promised someone something. And I can also see the word 'carito' so I presumed that it was for someone dear to him. Does he have a child?

Hahaha...I knew Mexes' hair would make for a good photo someday! XD
