Poor Paul :( It's so sad; he was such a character, definitely the "mascot" of the WC, more so than Zukimi (sp? DARNIT I NEVER LEARNED ITS NAME!) I was surprised; I thought he had about two more years to go, that octopi lived to be about 4 years old :( this says differently

Paul was probably loved world-wide. I'm shocked too. Since his retirement I thought he'd live to a ripe old age. This is sad news indeed. :(
