Catching up on my picspams! I hope I can get all 4 from the past 2 days up today, starting with Ghana vs USA from Saturday. Ghana won, putting out the second-last CONCACAF team from the WC. Here are some emotional pics from the match.
An interesting sidenote is that I heard someone on TV say that the club team with the most players at the WC was Portsmouth FC in England. I found this fascinating, because Portsmouth had such an interesting story this year. Forced into administration by a too-heavy debtload because of financial mismanagement, Portsmouth was deducted 10 points by the FA and could not recover from this, so they were relegated. Yet they have world-class players still with the team. These include Kevin-Prince Boateng of Ghana, who scored the opening goal against the USA on Saturday.

Just to satisfy your curiosity in case you are interested, the players currently with Portsmouth who played in the World Cup are:
David James - England
Kevin-Prince Boateng - Ghana
Nadir Belhadj - Algeria
Aaron Mokoena - South Africa
John Utaka - Nigeria
Kanu - Nigeria
A couple of players who recently left the team and who played for England are Peter Crouch and Glen Johnson.
On to the picspam!
Most of these pics are of Kevin. XDD
Bill Clinton is there to watch the USA.

Mick Jagger was there too.

Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Kingson.

This is Asamoah Gyan, who scored the winning goal.
