This one was a heart stopper, with the frenetic, bombastic Chile winning by 1 - 0 despite many, many shots on goal. Interestingly, all 5 South American teams are topping their groups at this time.


This match was physically destroying for both teams, who gave their ALL.



















Valon Behrami was sent off. (He had slapped two Chilean players in the face but he was sent off for the second one of these.)

Some niceeeeeeeeeeeeee pics of the Chilenos! They are the 'little' ones between the teams! It was hard against the physical bigger Swiss guys!

From the start, this match was all about the ref. He should never ever be allowed to enter a field again. This man forgot what it was all about, set both teams on edge and thusly killed the spirit. What a bummer after watching Portugal having so much fun.
