jenni_blogWell, tomorrow will be David Beckham's last game with Real Madrid. Here is my tribute to Becks. We Real Madrid fans will miss you, David, and your changing hairstyles, honey. And your shirt-lifting too! Best of luck in the MSL although I am sure you will be terribly disappointed! It is NOTHING like Spain or England!!!
It's not that easy to do what David does week after week. On May 20th he got kicked in the groin by a nasty player.
He complained to the coach, Fabio Capello, about it.
Coach said, "Get back on the pitch, you!"
Becks likes to change his hairstyle quite often. He tried this horrible platinum blond do a few weeks ago.
Then he shaved it all off.
Here are some of his other "do's" over the years.
David likes to take his shirt off. A lot.
And show off in general.
He is close to some of his other team members:
Ruud van Nistelrooy:
Fabio Cannavaro:
Cicinho:
Fernando Gago and Jose Reyes:
But there is no one that David is closer to than Sergio Ramos, a dynamic young player who could be his "protege".
I am sure that Becks will be sorely missed at Real Madrid.

Date: 2007-06-23 02:51 am (UTC)I know! Isn't it a killer? The quality isn't the best, but the contrast between Becks' pale hair and Serg's dark is stunning. Not to mention the look David is giving him!!! It says it all, doesn't it?
There are so many pics of David it was really hard to select just a special few. But I'm so glad I came across that screen shot!
You know, the LJ icons don't look too bad if you use poor-quality pics I've noticed. Probably because they come out fuzzy anyway. I may try to make one of that.
