Some snow! Yes! I can't believe it. When I was there last year in April it was so beautiful. It rained in Munich for 2 days but the temperature was warm.

Here we are having 10-15 degrees and more temperatures. And yet this is Canada. However, this winter has been quite warm with almost NO snow. We only had to shovel the walk ONCE, on December 4th and that was ALL!

Usually, I try to catch Dortmund games ("try" being the operative word, because most of the time, I can't), but yesterday was very exciting in Serie A, so I watched Schalke and then switched over.

I love it when it snows during games; so pretty (must be terrible to play in, though)
Really happy for Hannover, though, especially Fromlowitz - he can finally catch a break now. The media had been tearing him up, but this weekend, some Germans papers selected him as the best goalkeeper of the Spieltag. :)

It was great to see Podolski scoring again.

Hey! Holtby! haha Glad to see he's getting playing time. Such a promising young talent, but he wasn't getting his due time at Schalke :/ (too bad because the pics of him and Christoph Moritz were beyond cute)

Nuernberg just pulled a surprising win over Leverkusen today, so now Bayern's first, with Schalke 2 pts behind them and Leverkusen 1 point behind Schalke.
Erik Maxim Choupo-Moting scored two, FCN's third by Tavares. Leverkusen's goals came from Kiessling and Helmes (guess he's back with a bang!)

LOL. Well, the Bundesliga game pics are the sexiest of all the leagues, IMO, except Colombia (but that's a whole different untamed sort of vibe and the players have such beautiful bodies...ALL of them it seems...)

Poor Kehl! I don't know what happened to him. :(

I'm SOOO happy for Fromlowitz! He deserves a break! It's great to see him celebrating. :)

I JUST finished watching the Leverkusen game! Yikes! What a time to choke! Mind you, they tried to come back from the deficit but just couldn't pull it off. Kiessling scored though...nice! Helmes looks like he's a bit overweight...maybe it's not a problem, but his face looked chubby to me... :)

Didn't catch the Köln match on TV but from what I heard it was quite a frustrating match. *sigh* If Schweinsteiger is the squad's best player, something must be really really wrong. And how typical was it that Podolski ended his goal draught in the very match I didn't want him to score? Sometimes I have a feeling the world is against me. ;)

Mondragón sure loves complaining at referees. I hope that this time he was actually involved, not just complaining for the sake of complaining.

And whoa, the Kempter story is getting really ugly now. How much do you know of it?

I am convinced that both Bayern and Bayer Leverkusen are trying to kill their fans with the suspense they are creating, staying so close together and having all these *fails* or frigging tie games!!! :(

LOL @ Mondragon. I had heard rumours while watching Colombian games on TV that he was thinking about coming back to Colombia to play. I know that my favourite team wanted him because their GK played so badly during the Copa Libertadores that it caused them to go out in the preliminary round! But then it didn't happen so maybe he wants to wait another year before he goes back.

OMG the Kempter story is crazy! I first heard of it on TV while watching Sky Sports news. Then I googled it to find out more. The latest I had read when I made this post was that Michael Kempter had been suspended from refereeing games because once-upon-a time he had made a remark that he would prefer Bayern Munich not to win the title or something. But since this has only occurred since he filed that sexual harrassment claim against Amerell, I have to think that it has been trumped up and blown out of proportion by Amerell's lawyers. What have you heard???? It's quite fascinating. I guess Michael Kempter's brother doesn't like all the attention being heaped on him because of his brother.

*sigh* Poor guys. They're both so pretty....XD
