First, a couple more photos of the Museo de Bellas Artes. This art museum had a good mix of contemporary and classical artwork...mostly paintings but also some sculptures. Unfortunately, people were not allowed to take photos inside, nor did the museum's shop have any postcards or other things that showed what was on display at the time. And I didn't take notes, which I regret, because there was some very interesting stuff by some artists I would have loved to check out. The only name I remember is Eduardo Chillida. He is a Basque sculptor who works with rusty metal, making some of his sculptures look as if they are made of wood. I suppose because it rains about 40% of the time in Bilbao, the rusty look is not at all unusual. But here is a link to the Wiki entry on Chillida. His work is very beautiful and quite unusual.

Next, there are photos of the Athletic Club players at training on Monday morning, and some of me meeting them. The weather started out rainy but soon changed to sunny and warm. This kicked up my allergies, which caused my face, particularly my eyes, to go all puffy. Please excuse the way I look...LMAO.
