PICSPAM: MY FAVOURITE PHOTOS FROM THE PAST WEEK OR SO

Every once in awhile I like to compile some of my favourite football pics that I found over the past week or so while surfing around. These are from YahooSports.com and Getty Images.



1. Croatia vs Netherlands International Friendly Feb. 6/08

Wesley Snejder - I thought Wesley looked so cute in the Netherlands' new blue kit and I felt sorry for him because he got kicked more than anyone else on the pitch that day. Poor Wesley.



This is an awesome pic of Huntelaar and Corluka vying for the ball.



2. FC Porto game from last weekend.

LOL. Lucho Gonzalez was awesome in this game and his reactions to missing the goal were hilarious.





Here is the coach talking to Ricardo Quaresma in an earlier game. LOL. I love Quaresma's facial expressions. He and Fernando Gago of Real Madrid must have two of the most expressive faces in football.





This is from an earlier game, when Porto played Sporting Lisbon. Quaresma and Miguel Veloso are very good friends off the pitch, but here they both compete for the ball.



3. Palermo vs Roma

First of all, Palermo have one of my most favourite kits in football. I just love the pink colours. Here is Edison Cavani of Palermo in the away kit. He is Uruguayan and very good-looking. In fact, I was watching the incredible friendly between Uruguay and Colombia on Wednesday, and I noticed that there are a number of tasty players on the Uruguay National Team. I must do a picspam of them soon.



4. Real Madrid - Last Couple of Games

Sergio Ramos on his knees with shorts tuckage is always a good thing. XD

5. Bayern Munich

LOLLLLLLLL. This gets my vote for most adorable pic of the spam. Martin Demichelis jumping on Luca Toni.♥

7. Club America winning the Mexican Interliga tournament.

8. Stuttgart vs Schalke04

Fernando Meira and Sami Khedira. OMFG. Fernando and a Schalke player accidentally kick poor Sami Khedira in the face. O_O

9. Marco Borriello of Genoa.

I'm not sure if Marco is still on loan from AC Milan or if he's been sold, but he has suddenly started producing some lovely goals. I'm glad because I've always liked him and I know he's had problems in the past with banned substances, but here's hoping all's well with him now.



10. Bayer Leverkeusen.

LOL. They are one of the slashiest teams on the planet. Here's Friedrich and Skela doing the Leverkeusen thing.





11. Kun Aguero.

Awww...poor Kun is injured. I also hear that he is dating Diego Maradona's daughter. Wow. I hope she isn't anything like her father. LOL.



12. Slashiness among players.

LOL. I just love this pic of Kevin Nolan and Matt Taylor of Bolton Wanderers.



13. Hamit Altintop.

Owner of one of the best smiles in football. (LOL. I guess his brother has another.)



14. Liverpool vs Aston Villa

I just loved this pic of Fernando Torres vs Olaf Mellberg when I saw it.



15. Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Just the epitome of the joyful Argentine footballer. I love Lavezzi.



16. Milan Baros.

OMFG but am I EVER happy that Milly is back in the Premiership!!! And doesn't he look awesome in the Portsmouth kit??? He played a great game, too! His work rate was amazing.

I'm so glad Milan Baroš is playing again - and in a reasonable league at that. I'm sure he'll do well at Portsmouth. *keeps fingers crossed for him*

I think Wesley is very cute and I love the new blue kit.
Lucho is awesome.
Palermo's kit is one of the best. Which reminds me--I have been meaning to do a picspam on kits but have been unable to decide on the focus--should it be on teams who wear pink kits? Or perhaps on a particular "pink" team's players? I need to finish collecting pics and that will help me decide. If I can't find too many good ones then I may abandon the scheme altogether.

Raul definitely has one of the most expressive faces in footie, although no one can beat Gago for that, IMO.

I really think that while Gago may have the most expressive face, Micho has one of the most expressive body languages in football! XDDD

I love Club America's "Bimbo" logo. LOLLLL. I hope they never change it. It looks so cute in picspams.XDD

LOL. I almost didn't notice the fact that Milan had that foot up his shorts. O_O Yes, I hope he does well again now that he's back in the Premiership.♥
