Tranquillo Barnetta is Swiss, born in St. Gallen to Italian parents. He's a member of the Swiss National Team that played in the 2006 WC and was on the short list for the tournament's "Best Young Player" award. He has been on loan at Hannover 96 but plays currently for the team that owns him, Bayer Leverkeusen.

I recently did a picspam on the pretty, very slashy Leverkeusen team, but glaringly omitted Tranquillo. I'm so sorry, Tranqui! Since you are a lively, cute and hunky player with a great sense of humour, how could I have left you out? I'm an idiot, that's why. Okay, here's your picspam:
