My teams overall had a terrible last weekend. Let's hope this coming one will be a lot better. I really didn't want to post any pics, but then as usual, Schalke had so many interesting and/or funny ones that I couldn't resist in the end.
So here are pics from Schalke's defeat at the hands of Bayern Munich. :(
League Standings as of Right Now:
1. Borussia Dortmund - 52 points
2. Bayern Munich - 48
3. Borussia Moenchengladbach - 47 (Damn. I really don't want to hate Marco Reus and the boys.) :(
4. Schalke04 - 44 (Aaaarrrrghhhh. No....not a meltdown!)
Here is a pic from the disaster that was last weekend:
I was wondering if the Schalke player on the ground with his shirt riding up was Benni, who should be taking serious care of his face...

But thank god it isn't, because in this pic he is standing up, and it is Kyriakos Papadopoulos who is flat on the ground. But they are wearing the same boots? Papadopoulos is clearly a copycat. :/

*Sigh*......it really doesn't look as if Benni cares about his face here...

Papadopoulos is freaking out. And it looks like, with Lars Unnerstall on the injured list, that Timo Hildebrand has been appointed the new Papadopoulos caretaker.

Yikes. Now I know that Klaas-Jan sustained some horrific facial injuries himself against England in an international friendly this week. Apparently he suffered a concussion, broken nose and lost some teeth. So he will be joining the mask-wearing Benni for Schalke, that's if he even plays this weekend. And it's the second time Huntelaar has been in a mask this season! At least I presume he'll be wearing one if he plays. *sobs* My team is falling apart.... :((((((((

I thought I'd include this pic of Schweini for sartorial purposes. Normally I hate this style of pants. I've seen some young guys walking in them and it's laughably awkward, and nowhere near attractive. But somehow on Schweini they don't really look that bad. I also like his colour sense - he's put this outfit together with a good eye for colour pairings - and I also love the way he's wearing the scarf, as well as the fur collar on the jacket. Good job, Schweini! ;)
