Okay, I have added my review to the version of Ravages with cover! :)
It is true that it is a 'new' book on the market. So many people read the classics, and books that have been out for years, and review them after such a long time...but I think it's a very good idea to promote a new story. I mean, it has to be done.
I've 'friended' George Martin on LJ (the 'A Song of Ice and Fire' author) and even though his series of books is wildly popular, he still has to go out and promote the latest one. He's been travelling the USA making stops at tons of bookstores to autograph copies, and he's been visiting all the festivals like Comic Con and the rest! It must be exhausting. So anything you can do to self-promote, I'd encourage you to do it, even if you hate it!
