Two things that have been FREAKING me out lately when I'm on the comp:

1) Frigging 'flash' adverts that make a page take FOREVER to load, despite CONSTANT flash drive upgrades!!!!

2) Frigging redirects!!!! WTF is up with this???? I have almost EVERYTHING I visit frequently bookmarked in order to solve the problem, but when I want to visit a NEW site, it takes at least 4-5 tries to get on it without being redirected to some shit page I don't want!

I've tried both Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. I don't use IE anymore. I do upgrades and disk cleanups ALL THE TIME. I think all cookies and other shit are in order.

This never used to happen. Pop-up blockers used to be able to stop this sort of thing, but now...this redirecting you to another page problem can't be prevented by using pop-up blockers, so it would appear the sneaky bastards are trying to get you this way.

And one more thing...if I want to use ONLY Mozilla and Google Chrome, WHY do other browsers (like that hateful BING) keep showing up in my toolbar??? Get the hell out! I don't want you!

I use firefox and it works for me. For Yahoo I use IE! (Yahoo is very shitty now)+

Pop-ups are all blocked.

I assume you've already run your antivirus to scan your computer, so I second what someone said about AdBlock Plus.
Also, use something like CCleaner to clean out your cache and temporary files and other spare junk; something may be hiding in there :/

AdBlock http://download.cnet.com/1770-20_4-0.html?query=adblock+plus&tag=srch&searchtype=downloads&filterName=platform%3DWindows&filter=platform%3DWindows

CCleaner http://download.cnet.com/ccleaner/

I hope you can get it all sorted out! :/

There's a great add-on for Firefox that blocks all flash stuff unless you click on it: Flashblock. I'm using it, it's great. :)
