AN INTERESTING TEAM IN LA LIGA

I am partial to teams that wear the red & white (rojiblancos). Some of the others I admire throughout the world are Athletic Bilbao and Atletico Madrid (La Liga), Sunderland (EPL), Junior Barranquilla (Colombia) and Estudiantes la Plata (Argentina) and there are others too. XD

Anyway, this one is Sporting Gijon. Founded in 1905, Sporting has never played below the second division. Following ten years, however, in the Liga Adelante, the Rojiblancos returned to the first division in 2008. Gijon is in Asturias on the north coast of Spain, bordering the Cantabrian Sea (or Bay of Biscay).
