In the last "Favourite Footballers" post, I did a picspam of the Argentines I like whose names start with "F". This picspam shows the rest of the "F" players I like from elsewhere in the world. They are:
1) Fernando Llorente - Spain (Basque) - Club Athletic Bilbao
2) Fernando Meira - Portugal - FC Stuttgart
3) Mathieu Flamini - France - Arsenal
4) Fredy Montero - Colombia - Club Atletico Deportivo Cali
1) FERNANDO LLORENTE
His full name is Fernando Llorente Torres, making him the OTHER Fernando Torres. (XD)
He was born February 26, 1985 in Rincon de Soto, La Rioja, Spain. He is a 6'4" tall forward, who also plays for the Euskadi (Basque) National Team. Fernando is a very tall, strong, imposing forward, as you can see from the following pics.

2) FERNANDO MEIRA
Born June 5, 1978, this 6'3" defender wears No. 6 for both club and country. He came to Stuttgart in 2002 from Portuguese club, SL Benfica. This Fernando is also of imposing stature.

3) MATHIEU FLAMINI
Mathieu was born on March 7, 1984 in Marseille. He is 5' 10" tall and wears No. 16 for Arsenal. He is a defensive midfielder but also plays as a fullback. He is an extremely talented player, also on the French National Team.

4) FREDY (OR FREDDY) MONTERO
Most of you probably haven't heard of Freddy Montero. He's young, only 20, but he first came to my notice during last year's Copa Libertadores, where his goal-scoring ability helped his team advance out of the group stages. He was born July 26, 1987 in Campo de la Cruz, Colombia. He is a 5' 9" striker, wearing the No. 17 for Deportivo Cali, where he transferred from Atletico Huila. Unfortunately, he is usually subbed in later on in games for Cali, so his goal-scoring talents are not on display as much as they were with Huila. He has had one cap for the Colombia National Team, in 2007. I wouldn't be surprised if this talented, versatile striker isn't picked up by a savvy European team sometime soon, but only if he gets more playing time. :(
Pictures of Freddy are somewhat hard to find, but I managed to get the following:
