I can't believe what happened. I would have expected LA Galaxy to defeat Toronto FC in Los Angeles and advance to the semi-finals. And I thought Seattle Sounders would win in Mexico over Santos and advance.
I was WRONG on both counts! Toronto beat LA!!!!! But the Sounders lost too. :((((
Now, the semifinalists are Toronto FC, who will play against Santos, and last year's champs Monterrey, who will play either Metapan or Pumas (other semifinalist to be determined tonight).
LA has both David Beckham and Robbie Keane, but we have Torsten Frings!
