THE GREAT BUNDESLIGA WEEKEND

Depending on who your team is, the past weekend was a very entertaining one in the Bundesliga. On Friday night I was treated to one of the highlight matches of the weekend, when Borussia Moenchengladbach took on Bayern Munich, and whupped the stunned league leaders 3-1.

EPL: BUMMER IN THE WINTER

Does anyone remember the group 'LOVE'? I had their album 'Forever Changes' at one time. They were quite original and very interesting, a racially diverse band from the 60s. Their song 'Bummer in the Summer' was arguably the very first rap song ever.
Anyway, I digress.

My two favourite EPL teams, Liverpool FC and Tottenham Hotspur, went down in flames this weekend, and made me remember that song. :(

LA LIGA: FOR EVER

There are few football leagues that fill me with more passion than this one. Good and bad. Right now I am so angry with Real Madrid and cannot consider them to be my favourite team anymore. Atletico Madrid has once and for all replaced them. And I still love Athletic Club Bilbao. More and more, all the time, especially now.

Another club that doesn't get a lot of attention from me, but I really like a lot is Valencia.

Valencia just signed Ever Banega until 2015, showing their love for the Argentine playmaker.

COLOMBIAN LEAGUE READY TO START

This Friday the Liga Postobon will resume, with newly promoted team Patriotas hosting Tolima.

A lot of the teams will have new faces, but some of them have still kept their most important players.

Geovanny Hernandez will be returning with Champions Junior. Here he is showing some 'tude.

PRESENTATION OF THE NEW AMERICA DE CALI FOR 2012

America de Cali is a BIG club in Colombia, which was relegated at the end of the season just passed. This was a major shock for a lot of America's fans and for any fan of Colombian football. But the team (like River Plate of Argentina) is determined to rise again next relegation/promotion time, and has revamped the team. Eduardo Lara, past coach of both the NT and the U-20 team, was hired to lead America, and there are many other new faces in the squad. They just had a big presentation to introduce the new kit and the team. Here are some beautiful pics.

Oh Mama, I want one of HIM. Don't bother to dress him up, just send him over as is. Oh my. :P
