SOME DAYS EVERYTHING GOES WRONG
Apr. 19th, 2011 06:30 amFriday was so awful in so many ways. It's taken until now to get over it and I'm not there completely, having awoken at 4:00 am and not able to fall asleep again. I feel a combination of awake/asleep. I'll be good for nothing when I get home from work tonight.
Let me try to expunge Friday from my system.
First, woke up feeling grumpy already. Work was okay in the morning, though.
At lunch had a hair appointment at 1:00 pm, so left early in order to go to the post office across the way to mail a parcel, then eat lunch and go to my hair appointment.

Sean has been depressed lately because he has nobody to play with in the yard at recess. His depression has rubbed off on me.
Background:
Sean is 8 years old with mild autism. (Asperger's Syndrome)
He was transferred to a new school for this year and is in a Special Ed class.
There are only 10 kids in his class and he is the one with the least difficulties, therefore he is allowed to play outside in the big yard, as opposed to staying in the small yard with the other special ed kids.
Problem is, he doesn't know anyone in the other classes. Bummer.

Okay, so while life is not always perfect and ideal, we have to do the best we can, eh?
Have a nice day, everyone. :) I'll try to post later about my experiences training the new staff member yesterday and today. I'm exhausted already and it's only 6:30 am. :(
