TOP GOALSCORERS IN THE COPA LIBERTADORES

One nice thing about watching the Copa Libertadores is that I am constantly amazed by how many great players there are in South America. Among the top goalscorers in the competition so far are many names that were unknown, which makes it so very interesting. I always wonder just who among all these players will eventually make it to Europe and/or become the big stars of the future.

So of course here is a picspam. There are many interesting faces here.

The top goalscorer so far is Roberto Nanni of Cerro Porteno (Paraguay) with 6 goals. (Of note he is Argentine and used to play for Velez Sarsfield until 2009 .)
