THAT ADORABLE CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE

River has been doing extremely well during this Clausura, and sit at the top of the league, tied on points with Estudiantes. The battle has been awesome, with 6 teams so close on points that almost anything could happen! The table looks like this currently:

River - 30 points
Estudiantes - 30 points
Velez Sarsfield - 27 points
San Lorenzo - 27 points
Independiente - 26 points
Boca Juniors - 26 points

I can't believe that Boca is in sixth place! But since they are only 4 points out of first place, like I said - anything could happen. Boca and San Lorenzo are still alive in the Copa Libertadores, but after the first leg, both teams are at a disadvantage going into the second leg.

Anyway, just because River Plate has been such an exciting team to watch during the Clausura, and have some of the cutest, most talented players, I want to devote a picspam to them. All pics are from games during April and May this year.
