REASON FOR POST: I noticed how slashy this team was and wanted to show you. Also because they're pretty. And I noticed you were all bored and so I dreamed up this game.
CONTEST: (1) Who is the slashiest player on this team? (2) Where do YOU think Leverkeusen falls on the list of slashiest teams in the world?
WARNINGS: HUGE picspam and slashiness under cut!

Leverkeusen is strong, finishing in the top four from 1997-2002. But they faltered in 2003-2004 when they lost Michael Ballack and Ze Roberto. Subsequently their manager was fired in 2005. However, since then they managed a 5th-place finish and have competed in the UEFA Cup the past two seasons.
