TEAM MEXICO: A RECENT PICSPAM
Does anyone here like the Mexico NT? (I decided to take a little break from the Euros for a second - LOL.)
Mexico is currently getting ready for the CONCACAF qualifiers for the World Cup 2010, same as the South American teams are getting ready for theirs. CONCACAF comprises the three national teams from North America, plus Central America and the nearby island nations, like Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Belize, to name a few.
The Mexican team has had its share of drama recently. Hugo Sanchez had all but destroyed a once great national team, and was fired. I was shocked when Sven Goran Ericksson was hired as new coach, not because I don't love Sven, but I didn't think it was a good fit. Some of the players agreed with me. LOL. But we'll see how he does. I always thought Sven was good at picking the right players for his team. I thought he did great at Manchester City and was saddened by that departure as well.
Anyway, after the coaching change, Mexico went out and beat Peru 4-1 on June 8th. Here are some pics from that match and some training ones.
Oswaldo Sanchez makes a stop. Oswaldo recently had his share of drama too. He was arrested in a Chicago hotel room for some sort of disturbance. Oswaldo swears he is not an alcoholic and protests he is innocent of any wrongdoing.

This is Sergio Santana going for a header.

This is Sergio Ponce.

Ricardo Osorio vs Juan Cominges.

Ricardo Osorio and Fernando Arce.

Luis Perez vs Nobby Solano of Peru.

Adrian Aldrete vs Nobby Solano.

Luis Perez vs Juan Marino.

Johnny Magallon vs Paolo Guerrero.

Fernando Arce celebrates.

Cesar Villaluz vs Nobby Solano.

Andres Guardado troubles a Peru player.

Carlos Salcido shakes hans with the bench.

Yes!!! I get the Bundesliga games here and I see Osorio and Pardo all the time. I just love Paolo Guerrero too. And I see Rafa Marquez, Carlos Vela and Andres Guardado in La Liga!
Awww...I've been collecting the Mexico pics for awhile. I love them too. I love everything about them, down to the beautiful colour of their kits.♥

Mexico team was my very first crush with a football team (except Liverpool - family tradition) I love to watch them playing and I cryed so much 2002 WC as they lostr against USA and Rafa got red. I was down for days.... and now I love them to pieces!
2006 - the match against Argentina - OMG! it was heartbreaking! I have a very difficult realationship to the argentine NT. I don't love them but I love some players. That's so hard and I guess not all people are understanding me.
I have a Mexico National Team 2006 jersey with number 4 and MARQUEZ on the back! I love that jersey so mucho!

I want a jersey with ABREU and 13. I have to collect money to buy one because I want it more than others.

eastbay.com
The above is an American site where I've bought stuff for my son and they are good, reliable and dependable. And they have lots of sales all the time.
Here is one of my favourite blogs for Argentine soccer:
pasion-albiceleste.blogspot.com
The blogger has a list of 'favourites' down the right-hand side of the page where he lists some places to get shirts, etc. They'd probably be OK too.
