WC MATCHES: ENGLAND VS ALGERIA

Shocking results again today. For England it was more about what they didn't do, compared to Algeria, who had a decent game considering the 0 - 0 tie. England has only scored ONE GOAL so far in the WC.

Yeah...

I was so sorry for Becks. The poor man was visibly suffering. But heck, what the hell is wrong with this English team? No speed, no creativity in the midfield, a shaky defense (Glen Johnson played a particularly poor match), and the strikers never managed to shake off Algeria's defenders. This is not what I'm used to when it comes to Premier League football! They need to be reminded of their principles and get a move on against Slovenia, otherwise the World Cup won't continue for them! Also, Peter Crouch should have been subbed in a lot earlier. Emile Heskey is a good striker but not ideal against those lithe, quick defenders.

Also, I might have a little crush on Karim Matmour, he's adorable! Ahem. *cough*

I know, poor Becks! :(

I have NO idea what is wrong with England. They are almost emulating France, yet I don't know if the squad has a problem with Capello, or what it is.

(I've been reading the latest muck about France and it's so very, very sad. I mean, I'm not a fan of France, but still...)

Many England players were terrible. On one of our sports talk shows here, the pundit said there were at least five Algerian players who were better than the best English player (Ashley Cole, apparently).

I feel that Capello should definitely make some changes. I saw Joe Cole's stats from the first match and truthfully, I do not know how much more perfect a player could get. I don't know why he is not playing, or why Capello is not playing with three strikers. I want Jermain Defoe on, I want Crouchy and although I love Aaron Lennon with Spurs, I don't know why Capello sent Theo Walcott home.

OMG, Karim Matmour!!! SO FREAKING ADORABLE!!! Algeria has some hot players for sure! They are a pleasure to watch, seriously. XDD

That match did never happen for me!

They are doing it ALL to themselves. It was theirs for the taking. They still have a chance but they have to depend on the Americans to lose and they must WIN the next game. Only THEY know why they have not performed. :(
